About the Photographer

Hi, I’m Crystal — though many people know me as CT — and I’ve been behind a camera since 2001.

Photography has never been just a hobby for me; it’s how I connect with the world around me. These days, I’m also proud to serve as the Secretary of the Kitsap Photographers Guild, and if there’s something interesting happening within eyesight, there’s a pretty good chance I’m trying to capture it through my viewfinder.

I’m a proud Navy wife, a mother of two teenage daughters, a former ballet dancer, and a pianist of 37 years. Creativity has always been woven into every part of my life, whether through music, movement, or photography.

I also run primarily on caffeine, chaos, and approximately 14,000 RAW files currently sitting on my SD card. No, seriously—it might be a problem.

Recently, I was honored to receive First Place statewide in Washington in the Capture WA Photography Contest for my waterscape image, The Last Watch. The photograph was also featured in a Seattle photography exhibit, an achievement that still feels a little surreal. My work has additionally been featured on KOMO News several times, and every image I take seems to come with a story—sometimes funny, sometimes challenging, and often unforgettable.

I’m currently in the process of establishing my LLC and putting myself out there even more as a photographer who genuinely gives everything I have to every client and every session. Whether you’re looking for senior portraits, family photos, branding images, events, wildlife photography, or something completely unique, I’ll always put my best foot forward and give 150% of what I’ve got.

When I’m not photographing people, you’ll usually find me chasing wildlife, landscapes, storms, sunsets, waterscapes, and whatever other adventure happens to cross my path. There’s always another story waiting to be told through a lens.

If you’re looking for a photographer who’s passionate, dependable, a little caffeine-fueled, and always ready for the next adventure, I’d love to connect with you. I’ve photographed just about everything… except weddings. There simply isn’t enough caffeine in the world to get me through those.

Looking forward to meeting you and helping tell your story through photographs.
